Back to NewsCalumma UN (Ultra Narrow) is a luminaire range available in sizes from XS to XL, providing maximum flexibility for a wide range of architectural applications — from highlighting fine details to illuminating large-scale structures and tall elements. The luminaire uses a narrow, precisely controlled beam that accurately reveals surfaces, textures, and architectural features while minimizing light spill.
Thanks to its range of sizes and optical configurations, designers can tailor the lighting effect to the character of the space and the type of material. The XS, S, and M sizes – with 5° beam angle – are primarily designed for wall grazing, precisely revealing façade textures and surface details. The L and XL sizes – available in 3.5° and 5° beam angles – are intended for illuminating tall architectural elements such as towers or spires, where very narrow beams and minimal light spill are required.
All sizes are available in a monochromatic version, while selected larger formats also offer a multicolour option, giving designers greater flexibility in shaping the atmosphere and expression of light within a space. This combination of flexibility, precision, and variability allows a single luminaire to perform equally well for intimate details as for monumental architectural installations.
